We can put our faith into action in small ways each day of our lives, whether at work, church, or school, among family or friends, browsing on our computer, or filling a little spare time at home. Unless it's something we'd want to do, we don't need to carry signs at demonstrations or picket outside corporations to make this a more peaceful, just world. All we need is to be aware of the multitude of opportunities God gives us daily and let the Holy Spirit's compassion and sense of right move us to small actions that can make a big difference.
The short "Small Things Count" articles are suggestions for doing just that. You can find them on the first and third Sundays in the Holy Family bulletin. In addition, each month one is posted here and kept posted for three months.
