REDISCOVER HOPE
Do you remember the last time you felt "hopeful"? If you don't, you are not alone.
This month, Holy Family Life Teen is hosting a special XLT night, titled "Rediscover Hope." Our guided prayer and message this evening is aimed to help you and your family remember that Hope in Christ.
We invite and challenge you to put this time slot in your family calendar, and prepare to stream and pray together as a family and as a Church. This may be the most important message you need to hear all year.
September 27th, 7:30PM
Streamed Online Through our Parish Facebook Page or Website

We are so grateful for a successful Life Teen Kickoff over the weekend. Although the way we gathered was different, one thing remains the same-- Our need to stay connected and be in community. We loved worshiping and praying with our teens, and this year we are more dedicated than ever to help one another rediscover our Hope in Christ. Looking forward to a great new school year!
Youth Group In Person Gathering Procedures
As we get ready to gather again and build community, your core teams have crafted the following rules so that we can have the most prudent in-person gatherings possible. Please read thoroughly before showing up tomorrow:
BEFORE LEAVING HOME:
CHECK YOUR TEMPERATURE:
If you have a fever. Please stay at home.
MAKE SURE YOU ARE HEALTHY:
If you are ill . Please stay at home.
WEAR A MASK:
Cover your face and mouth using a face mask.
Attending 6pm Youth Mass:
We encourage all middle school teens, high school teens, and their families to come worship at Mass! There is plenty of space outside to safely social distance from other families.
Preparing for Sunday Life Nights (High School) or Tuesday EDGE Nights (Middle School):
Following the 6pm Sunday Mass, Life Nights will occur in the Courtyard area outside the Youth Hall at 7:15pm. Edge Gatherings for middle school will also take place within the Courtyard on Tuesday evenings. Check in will take place at a station just outside the space before entering the Courtyard. We will gather again indoors once allowed by the county.
CHECKING IN AT YOUTH GROUP: 1. Proceed to the Check In Station Where Core leaders will be located. 2. Sign/turn in signed Health Screen Acknowledgement (provided at Check in 3. Temperature Check (Anyone running a fever of 100 Degrees or higher will be asked to stay home the night.
IMPORTANT CHANGE REGARDING FOOD:
Normally we are pleased to offer a variety of snacks and hospitality during gatherings. In order to minimize risk, there willBE NO FOOD DISTRIBUTED by Holy Family during Sunday Life Nights. For Tuesday EDGE Nights, we are strongly considering offering packaged snacks at the most. If anything changes, we will let you know.
Please make sure your teen is fed before coming to youth group! We know teens love food (and so does the Core Team!) , and we would love to resume this hospitality as conditions improve.
1. Use of sharable physical objects will be minimized for EDGE and LIFE Nights:
The Core teams are prepared to tailor our gatherings and activities to limit items and objects that would be passed around or shared. This includes items such as pens, paper, icebreaker activities, etc.
2. Mask-wearing, social distancing, and sanitization of hands/surfaces will be observed:
Until County restrictions are updated, all our leaders will continue to reinforce the safety procedures set by our county and parish.
3. Big Emphasis on Small Group activities this year.
Each and every teen in Life Teen and EDGE will be assigned a pair of small group leaders who will guide the group for the semester. This will apply not only during small group discussion during our gatherings, but also leader outreach during the week.
Our small groups are thinking of creative ways to reach out to their teens during the week, build community, and let them know that we're heare praying for them daily. Community is more important than ever!
Teens will be introduced to their small group leaders starting tomorrow for Life Teen, and September 22nd for EDGE.
