“Practice peace.” It’s more than just a warm, fuzzy slogan on a tee shirt. It’s something we should do every day. Start by forgiving all those slights and hurtful actions against you. They may have been unintentional anyway. Then learn to take a cleansing breath before you react to something that upsets you. Next, work on creating more loving relationships, whether it's quickly resolving conflicts between your children or searching out areas of agreement with that co-worker you never seem to get along with. World peace is a wonderful concept, which will be achieved in God’s own time. Meanwhile, let’s get ready for that time by practicing peace in our daily lives.
