Judge not, and you shall not be judged: condemn not, and you shall not be condemned: forgive, and you shall be forgiven (Luke 6:37)
Children learn to love when they are loved and offered opportunities to love others, such as parents, grandparents, godparents, siblings, aunts, and uncles. Children can learn to form a healthy image of God and an intimate relationship with Jesus by experiencing healthy relationships in the family. Children learn about the dignity of others by seeing how you treat family members who are sick, disabled, or elderly. Likewise, when you let go of old hurts and reconcile with family members and friends, you help children to believe that forgiveness is always possible and that God’s love never fails.
