December 16, 2015, 5:30 AM - December 24, 2015
Simbang Gabi celebration is coming to Holy Family Parish for the 10th year. To those who have not heard about this event, it is a 9-day series of masses at 5:30AM from December 16-24th. This traditional Filipino custom started at Holy Family in 2006 through the combined efforts of Fr. Engel, and a small Filipino group supported by Fr. Matt. This year Bishop McGrath will celebrate the mass on the 19th. Other ethnic groups in the parish, namely: Vietnamese, Italians, Indonesian, African and Mexican have been participating in the celebration and sponsoring a day for the fellowship. We need volunteers for the preparation of the liturgy, choir and fellowship to make the celebration a success. Prayer requests are accepted. Forms are available in the vestibule and at the Parish Office from December 10. Completed forms may be turned in to the Parish Office or during the 9-day novena. We hope to see you all again and we invite new participants to this year’s celebration. It will be a great spiritual experience that will make your preparation for Christmas more meaningful.
