“At the Death House Door” (not rated) is FIAT Features’ next offering for our summer movie series. This haunting documentary follows the remarkable career journey of Carroll Pickett, whose experiences change his pro-execution stance. He served 15 years as the death house chaplain to the infamous "Walls" prison unit in Huntsville, Texas. He presided over 95 executions, hiding his feelings but making audiotape accounts of each one. 7 – 9 P.M. on Tuesday, Aug. 4, in the Holy Family Parish Hope Room. Free popcorn, soda, and AC. Optional: Please bring an item for Survival Sacks for the Homeless (for what is needed, see the list on FIAT's webpage: http://holyfamilysanjose.org, click on Faith in Action, then FIAT, or call Jackie at 408-622-5372).
