Thank you for choosing to "Be the Light".
Our Be the Light program is very simple. It is a simple "yes" to dedicate some of your time as a family in prayer. For one week, your family will gather together and pray for the intentions of vocations that more people may be able to say "yes" to religious life and for families that they may be able to love the way Jesus did and not be broken. Family is not necessarily your biological family but anyone you choose to share your faith together. The Lord always asks for something so that He can work that miracle. Respond to this call now and give the Lord some of your time and effort so that He can work that miracle in your families and make us one Holy Family that reigns in His graces in love for eachother.
Fill out the following form if you are interested in taking the Vocation Cross and Holy Family statue home for a week. Pick up of the religious items occur during the 9:30am Mass.
Love one another as I have loved you - John 13:34
Good and gracious Lord, so great is your love for us that you called the church to be your bride. We ask you to bless all the religious who die to the flesh each day as a living sacrifice -- seeking your holiness; surrendering to your will. May they be filled with your presence as they come to you in faith standing on your promises -- may your miracles unfold. Shower them with your love so that every doubting heart may see and know that you are good and everyone who has chosen to be your instrument may taste and see of your glory. May more people say 'yes' to your call -- "Come Follow Me."
We ask you to also bless our family with the grace to love until it hurts. That through it all hurt may be gone and only your love reign. Bless us with
your grace to sacrifice our own desires for the sake of eachother, your grace to forgive as you forgive and
your grace to be thankful knowing that your will for us is to not die; but have life eternal.Bless all covenant relationships that you have called through the sacraments. Fill them with your graces that they may be a sign of your light that shines in the darkness, as they go into the world seeking to do your will.
We ask this through Christ our Lord - Amen.
