It is customary to make an offering to the parish on the occasion of the celebration of marriage. This offering is for the ongoing work of the parish. The suggested donation to the parish is $500 if you are registered members of Holy Family ($600 for non-parishioners). A deposit of $250 (or $300 for non-parishioners) is due and should be brought to the parish office no less than thirty days (30) after the original booking of your wedding, and the remainder should be paid at least two months prior to the wedding. It is very helpful if you write the date of your wedding on the memo line of your check. Of course, a full refund of any deposit will be made if your wedding is canceled for any reason.
A fee of $200 will be required from couples seeking Marriage Preparation Assistance at Holy Family, but plan to marry elsewhere.
The amount of honorarium for the priest presiding at your wedding ceremony is up to you. The presider will sit at the chair next to the altar; any other priests who are concelebrants will sit at the side pews closest to the altar.
The music minister and wedding coordinator who serve at your wedding will arrange a fee with you — beforehand — based upon their established fee. Please bring these fees to the rehearsal and give them to the wedding coordinator in clearly marked envelopes.
