A quick reference on the Laws of Fast and Abstinence:

Ash Wednesday and all Fridays during Lent are days of abstinence from all meat. Except for a serious reason, all persons 14 years old and above are bound by this law.
 
Ash Wednesday & Good Friday are also days of fast. Those of age 18 until the day after one’s 59th birthday are bound by this law. On these two days, one full meatless meal may be eaten. Two other meatless meals may also be taken sufficient to maintain strength, but together they should not equal a full meal. Liquids, including milk and fruit juices may be taken between meals. If health or ability to work is affected, the law does not oblige.

Our Bishop Oscar Cantu has put out a letter about the lifting of the dispensation for Sunday and Holy Day Mass attendance which went into effect on March 6, 2022. Please click here to read it in its entirety.

Changes that are implemented at Holy Family with this transition to "endemic" time as of March 6, 2022:

• As of January 2, 2023 we have discontinued live streaming daily mass. We will continue to live stream Saturday 5:30pm and Sunday 8am Masses.
• If you are unable to attend Mass in person, please contact the office so we can arrange for someone to bring communion to you.
• To attend Mass, masks are not required but are encouraged regardless of vaccination status.
