Holy Family’s 12th annual Multicultural Celebration of our “Unity in Diversity” will be taking place this year on May 7, 2017. This annual celebration has grown through the years with participation by our many various ethnic groups represented in our parish family. A mass and reception highlighting our beautiful cultural traditions, authentic national attire, and delicious culinary delicacies are all part of the festivities for the day.
The pre-liturgy program will start at 11am with a number of ethnic groups presenting a song and/or dance indicative of liturgical celebrations in their homelands, followed by the mass at 11:30am, presided over by Fr. Andrew, and concelebrated with priests from a number of countries. Then everyone proceeds to the Community Center to enjoy the richness of the various ethnicities represented, both through an array of food from all over the world, and excellent quality entertainment with dances and songs representing the many and varied cultures which we are blessed to have as part of our parish family. The guests are invited to participate in some of these dances, and the children from all continents join together for our musical finale.
Come and celebrate this beautiful tradition of Holy Family with us, and witness how we are United in Diversity…. a true and living witness to Christ in action.
Come celebrate with us!
